Our worklife and careers are important and not just because of the income. We find meaning, purpose, status, and job satisfaction through our work and it gives us a place in the world. Like most things in life – there are highs and lows.
When I was facing some tough decisions about my career, even as a recognised and established 'Career Expert', I went out in search of a coach for the confidential support and guidance I needed and wanted.
After two decades of guiding and shaping careers, consulting and recruiting for well-known brands and retailers, and working with thousands of people – I was ready to establish something of my own.
So I created a boutique career consultancy with coaching at the heart. I knew I had something unique to offer based around the meaning of work, something that you couldn't get from a conventional career coach or executive headhunter.
People work with career coaches for many reasons – because they feel stuck in a rut and demotivated, at a work/life crossroads, hungry for promotion, looking for their next role, or simply because they want to 'finesse' their CV and impress the board!
